Uses 1 608 sized bearing for the center, my awesome Threaded Caps and 6 nuts for weghts. This new spinner has the nuts inside the caps then they are friction fitted into the body with a little bit of super glue to cover the ugly nuts.. This is by far one of my favorite spinners.

I unbox my newly purchased Kossel 250 V-Slot BSE Delta printer kit from Ultibots.com Brad put together a nice kit!! Easy to assemble if you have experience putting together printers already, it can be a bit difficult if you haven't because the documentation is terrible. Brad, if you ever read this FIX IT! lol or send me another kit and I'll document the proper way to build a guide. =)

Printed on my Kossel 250 Vslot BSE printer from Ultibots. I finally have it tuned pretty good, it's running on a Duet Wifi and it's DEAD SILENT So glorious. Sliced with Simplify 3d 100mm/s 215c/60c Temps 1.6 height 10% infill I can't think of any other settings at the moment, but it was printed using Hatchbox Translucent Blue, and I love the color.

    First round -- you move strand 1 through 5 and 6, braided over and under 5 and 4 and then said "strand 3 on the right", but you really moved strand 6 to the right into position 3, correct?

    Is the back side braided the same as the front? I did a German version and the back looks braided. When I stopped yours and verified how to tie, it did the same... the front looked spiral, the back looked braided.

      sorry, I don't tie much anymore and I certainly don't make tying videos. but I'm pretty sure you would fold over your 8 strands in them middle and just replicate the tying process is how you'd start it.

    I watched like 7 different videos on how to do this and your video was by far the easiest to follow. I’m making a diy battle rope with 6 strands of 1/4” polypropylene rope and figured a round braid would be the best way to combined them. Awesome video thank you

    I got as far as @4:43, but I didn't tighten mine up as I went along... big mistake! Tightening up this knot _after_ the fact is a biotch! Mine is a 5 star, but the exact same technique can be used for any number of strands.

    Everybody always starts with "As you can see here, the process has already started, but the braid is the same" Guys, the part most of us are having trouble with is getting the start and end of the braid to look nice. The part these tutorials keep showing isn't the part anybody is struggling with.

    • @JJiG
      @JJiG 7 років тому

      You start the braid as if you were starting from where the video starts. Gather your cords, center them, wrap them around whatever you're tying it around, in this case that steel ring, and follow the pattern. it's like that with any braid.

    • @JJiG
      @JJiG 7 років тому

      Yes, you can see that in the video that they are looped over the ring so they're doubled when I start tying.

    • @davidpaul9365
      @davidpaul9365 7 років тому

      What I ment was, some of these multi strand braids, Gaucho etc, commence the begining with , in this case, 5 strands on one side and 3 on the other, then as you have done switch to 4 by 4.

    • @JJiG
      @JJiG 7 років тому

      This is an 8 strand plait, and 4 are on 1 side and 4 on the other, this is just a simple u2o2 i believe. gaucho is differnet etc. I've also tied those, but no video as Melvin Thomas the 1st who brought that type of tie to youtube has the best instructional video.
