Come here to learn some knotty stuff. I use mostly paracord in my tutorials but you can use any type of rope/cord to replicate the things I demonstrate here. I appreciate you watching so please comment on any video if you have any questions. Thanks!

New 6 Point Ninja Star Spinner

Uses 1 608 sized bearing for the center, my awesome Threaded Caps and 6 nuts for weghts. This new spinner has the nuts inside the caps then they are friction fitted into the body with a little bit of super glue to cover the ugly nuts.. This is by far one of my favorite spinners.

www.thingiverse.com/thing:151348/attribution_card Printed on a Kossel V-Slot 250 BSE Delta Printer from Ultibots.com Hatchbox Red Translucent 205/60 100mm/s .24 layer height 15% infill (Too much infill) Not sure of the print time I was sleeping. There is like 25 seconds of dead air time after the print finished due to lack of editing software.
UNBOXING!! Kossel 250 V-Slot BSE Delta Printer

I unbox my newly purchased Kossel 250 V-Slot BSE Delta printer kit from Ultibots.com Brad put together a nice kit!! Easy to assemble if you have experience putting together printers already, it can be a bit difficult if you haven't because the documentation is terrible. Brad, if you ever read this FIX IT! lol or send me another kit and I'll document the proper way to build a guide. =)

Printed on my Kossel 250 Vslot BSE printer from Ultibots. I finally have it tuned pretty good, it's running on a Duet Wifi and it's DEAD SILENT So glorious. Sliced with Simplify 3d 100mm/s 215c/60c Temps 1.6 height 10% infill I can't think of any other settings at the moment, but it was printed using Hatchbox Translucent Blue, and I love the color.
Thank you
Great. Going to try with wire
Thank you so much for this great video. I've been struggling to make this knot, using various books with no success. Your clear instructions and the different colors helped me immensely! I did it!
im glad it can still help people even after all these years!
Why did you use BLACK CORD on a BLACK BACKGROUND? Fail!
How do you start the top the strings where they loop over a object that is holding it together?
You're not showing the strands... Tsk tsk
First round -- you move strand 1 through 5 and 6, braided over and under 5 and 4 and then said "strand 3 on the right", but you really moved strand 6 to the right into position 3, correct?
Is the back side braided the same as the front? I did a German version and the back looks braided. When I stopped yours and verified how to tie, it did the same... the front looked spiral, the back looked braided.
호ㅛㄹㄹㅍ76햐ㅕㅠㅓ,ㅜㅕㅑㅔ
using black against a black background... lol
bro this was 10 years ago, i didn't have many colors to make it easier to see, you don't like it move on lol simple as that.
I want to see how you started it
sorry, I don't tie much anymore and I certainly don't make tying videos. but I'm pretty sure you would fold over your 8 strands in them middle and just replicate the tying process is how you'd start it.
Nice background bro. Makes the strands really stand out. /s
Thats nice how the fu k do.i end it on the other sideee
this was never a video on how to finish it, it was a video on how to do the technique.
Suck
Best video on how to braid four strand. Very clear and demonstrated well. THANKS.
You should you should be saying under three and back over the third
Difficult to follow - says “go around” doesn’t say which direction - right or left aarrrggghhh
Cool thank you. But is there a way to to end it on the buckle without having the core strand?
Thank you bro. I watched multiple paracord gurus trying to figure out how to tie this braid on my monkey fist and yours was the only one I could easily follow and finally get it f’ing done!
Very cool. Which instructions did you use?
Hello, I have a beautiful braid around a core but now how do I finish it off?
bro tanks for the effort but this is so aids to wach
if I cared I'd remake the video, but I don't and it was made 8 years ago so i'm sure there is many other videos you could go watch to learn.
You went WAY too fast at first.
How to you end it cleanly though to the other end of the buckle to turn it into a bracelet or necklace?
This is what I signed up for
I watched like 7 different videos on how to do this and your video was by far the easiest to follow. I’m making a diy battle rope with 6 strands of 1/4” polypropylene rope and figured a round braid would be the best way to combined them. Awesome video thank you
No worries, goad it helped! I don't tie much anymore but I noticed over the years people still watch these videos which is why I left them up.
Nice but it would have been better if the background and the core colors were of different color to make it easier to follow. But good job!
But there's six strands...??
4 strands for the braid, 2 strands as the core.
ooof ima fail this so bad, i was doing an 8 plait and dropped two strands and now im hella confused, all my strands are almost the same colours.
You can make it yourself, just loook and learn from woodprix.
Thanks!! I could never quite understand the other videos I watched.
Outstanding tutorial. Thank you.
Thank you for the video! I’m trying to find out what type of core is needed for dog leashes. I’m trying to make my dog a show lead. Making from kangaroo leather. I’m also wanting to learn how to make a handle with the core and also how to start a lead with a loop instead of a snap. Thanks for any offered help!
What kind of knot would you use to finish this braid?
how about around a core..can you do one like that
with different colors...am trying my hardest to learn it that way
Very helpful. Please consider using a contrast background or paracord for easy viewing. This is quite difficult to follow
Sorry, it was filmed last minute and many years ago. I don't tie any longer. If you were able to follow and understand the pattern maybe you could film a better tutorial refrencing mine?
I got as far as @4:43, but I didn't tighten mine up as I went along... big mistake! Tightening up this knot _after_ the fact is a biotch! Mine is a 5 star, but the exact same technique can be used for any number of strands.
Granite State Shooting Range. Best place to go to.
Why is the camera guy recording the dude driving the RC he should be focusing on the car
Very nice idea! Thank you so much for sharing!
You have no idea how aggravated I am trying to do this. Thankfully watching this video made since to me and it clicked. Thank you so much.
Everybody always starts with "As you can see here, the process has already started, but the braid is the same" Guys, the part most of us are having trouble with is getting the start and end of the braid to look nice. The part these tutorials keep showing isn't the part anybody is struggling with.
You start the braid as if you were starting from where the video starts. Gather your cords, center them, wrap them around whatever you're tying it around, in this case that steel ring, and follow the pattern. it's like that with any braid.
apparently its not because I have one side that looks perfect but the back looks like shit
How's the red dot holding up ? I bought one to for the same set up
I don't own the gun any more, but it's still going strong on a different rifle.
Thank you for your demonstration. 👍👍🐎
I like ur humming
Most satisfying video on UA-cam
Do you start the braid with four strands on each side ?
Yes, you can see that in the video that they are looped over the ring so they're doubled when I start tying.
What I ment was, some of these multi strand braids, Gaucho etc, commence the begining with , in this case, 5 strands on one side and 3 on the other, then as you have done switch to 4 by 4.
This is an 8 strand plait, and 4 are on 1 side and 4 on the other, this is just a simple u2o2 i believe. gaucho is differnet etc. I've also tied those, but no video as Melvin Thomas the 1st who brought that type of tie to youtube has the best instructional video.
I watched lots of other videos and could not get the hang of it but this helped a lot thanks
Thankyou! so........ much great technique and instruction.
You're so welcome!! Glad I was able to help!
sweet man! keep up the good work!
